2, la coppia bielorussa è 5° tra le Super GT, miglior risultato stagionale.
*BRANDS HATCH, July 25th* - The last weekend was very positive for AF Corse,
engaged in the fourth round of the GT Open Championship, at Brands Hatch.
After the GTS category victory in race 1 thanks to Daniel Brown-Glynn
Geddie, the AF Corse lined up cars finished race 2 (Sunday 24th) in
important positions.
Alessandro Garofano and Luca Rangoni, with Ferrari 430 GT2, closed race 2
with the brilliant second position in the overall classification and in the
Super GT category.
Daniel Brown and Glynn Geddie, after the victory of GTS category in race 1
at their debut, were very fast also in race 2: despite an handicap of 30”
just for the first place of race 1, they finished race 2 in position 5 of
GTS category.
The traffic on the track, in a circuit where the overtakings are very hard,
conditioned race 2 of the other two AF Corse cars. Stefano Bizzarri and Niki
Cadei, on 458 GT3 (GTS) were in position 4 of the category while Claudio
Sdanewitsch and Michele Rugolo came seventh of Super GT category with their
430 GT2.
AF Corse manages AT Racing team and the weekend was important also for
Alexander Talkanitsa and Alexander Talkanitsa junior, AT Racing drivers. The
harmony with the new 458 GT2 Italia is growing, as well as the results on
the track. At the end of race 2, the duo was in position 5 among Super GT
cars, the best result of the season.
