A heart stopping qualifying session at Monza saw Fernando Alonso steer his Ferrari to fourth place on the grid with a 1.22.841, while Felipe Massa is sixth in 1.23.188. Sebastian Vettel will start the Italian Grand Prix from pole position for Red Bull with a time of 1.22.275. Behind the series leader comes the McLaren duo of Lewis Hamilton (1.22.725) and Jenson Button (1.22.777.)
