Ferrari reigns in GT3 Asia

Ferrari Corse Clienti’s racing season has been very successful when one looks at the victories taken by the Maranello marque in the major national and international GT championships. In its debut year, the 458 Italia has secured wins in the prestigious and competitive Le Mans Series and Intercontinental Cup with the AF Corse entered car driven by Gimmi Bruni and Giancarlo Fisichella. It has also taken countless other wins proving it to be a worthy successor to the F430, which was one of the most successful cars ever in GT racing. The 458 GT3 has also won on Ferrari’s debut in the FIA GT3 category thanks to the AF Corse crew of Castellacci-Leo. This weekend just gone, the car also took a win in the GT3 Asia Championship, when Singapore’s Weng Sun Mok drove the Clearwater Racing 458 GT3 to victory on Sunday, in front of 24,000 spectators at the 58th Macau Grand Prix meeting, the eleventh and final round of the series.
