Praise for Mugello from the Italian President and the Vice-President of the Senate for the Mugello circuit

The Italian President, Giorgio Napolitano and the Vice-President of the Senate, Vannino Chiti congratulated the Director of the Mugello circuit, Paolo Poli on receiving the “Best Grand Prix 2011” award, the highest prize awarded to organisers of motor cycle races around the world.
The Ferrari owned circuit was voted the best of all venues that hosted rounds of the World Championship by a panel made up of riders, press and professionals through IRTA (International Road Racing Teams Association.)
A letter from the Italian President’s office congratulated the circuit on this award which once again highlights Italy’s worldwide reputation for excellence in the world and helps consolidate the popularity of motorcycling in Italy.
