Bahrain GP - Nothing new under the sun

Nothing new for Scuderia Ferrari in the first free practice session for the fourth round of the world championship, held this morning at the Sakhir circuit. The Ferrari’s of Fernando Alonso (1.35.436) and Felipe Massa (1.35.719) finished thirteenth and fifteenth. Lewis Hamilton (1.33.572) was fastest for McLaren, ahead of Sebastian Vettel (1.33.877) in the Red Bull and the Force India of Paul di Resta (1.35.150.) Both Ferrari men struggled a bit on the Medium tyres on the dusty Bahrain track, where the main problem is a lack of traction. This afternoon comes the second free practice aimed at gathering data, mainly on the aerodynamic behaviour of the car.
