Twenty Ferraris on parade at the Sakhir circuit

Twenty Ferraris on one track is always something special, especially when they can be admired against an unusual backdrop like a Formula 1 circuit, just a short while before the start of a Grand Prix. This afternoon, the Maranello cars took part in a lap of honour at the Sakhir circuit, organised by the Bahrain Ferrari Owners Club in aid of charity. No less than 150,000 dollars was raised for the Royal Charity Organisation for Orphans. Heading the parade was Marc Gene at the wheel of a F40.

“It’s always nice to take part in initiatives like this one, especially when it’s in a worthy cause,” said the Spaniard to www.ferrarif1.com. “Even though I have now been part of this team for several years, driving a Ferrari on track, even in a parade, is a great feeling.”
