Canadian GP - Alonso second and Massa sixth in final free practice

Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa took their Ferraris to second and sixth places respectively on the time sheet in the third and final free practice session for the Canadian Grand Prix. Quickest was Sebastian Vettel (1.14.442) in the Red Bull. The Spanish Scuderia Ferrari driver completed 17 laps, the best in a time of 1.14.448, while his team-mate did 21, the best in 1.14.767. Lewis Hamilton was third for McLaren in 1.14.712. Neither Ferrari man encountered any problems as they shared the work of preparing for qualifying, looking at the two compounds, the Soft and Supersoft, which worked better today because of the higher temperatures.
