Ferrari has solid lead in the Grand AM series

Third win of the season for the AIM Motorsport Ferrari 458, which dominated this weekend’s seventh round of the Grand AM series at Road America, Elkhard Lake, Wisconsin. The win sees the Canadian team consolidate its lead in the team classification on 220 points, 21 more than it’s closest rival. Ferrari heads the constructors’ table on 223 points, thanks to its drivers Jeff Segal and Emil Assentato on 220 in the drivers’. Today’s result is further proof of the qualities of the V8 powered Ferrari berlinetta, developed for the American championship, less than a year on from its debut. The next round of the series, the Watkins Glen 6 Hours, takes place on 1st July.
