The sixth round of the Stars ‘n Stripes series of the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli took place this weekend at the Lime Rock Park circuit, Lakeville, Connecticut. Of those drivers entered for the two races in the Trofeo Pirelli category, Onofrio Triarsi, driving for Ferrari of Central Florida, took the win in the first to confirm his lead in the championship, while the second one ended in victory for Carlos Kauffmann for Ferrari of Beverley Hills.

In the Shell Cup, there was a great performance from Ferrari of Ontario’s Robert Herjavec and Guy Leclerc (Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale,) who dominated the first and second legs respectively, finishing fourth overall, at the foot of the Pirelli podium, proving just how competitive are the gentleman drivers in this series.

There’s a long break in the calendar now for the North American series which will be back in action at the Homestead Raceway in Miami, Florida, over the weekend of 30 September.
