A little bit of Ferrari at the “Italia loves Emilia” concert

The Scuderia Ferrari is not mentioned on the list of the stars on the Campo Volo stage in Reggio Emilia, but will nevertheless be present at the concert on 22 September. The Team from Maranello contributed to the charity initiative by providing the motorhomes, usually used at the races and the test sessions. The first - a structure with three levels used by the Scuderia Ferrari during the races held in Europe – will be used as the command centre by the organisers; the second – the motorhome used at the test sessions – will be turned into the hospitality centre.

Ferrari wanted to give this small contribution to underline the commitment in favour of the people hit by the earthquake. A couple of weeks ago the Prancing Horse had organised a charity auction. The successful bidder for a 599XX Evo received his new car on the occasion of the Italian GP from Chairman Luca di Montezemolo and the Scuderia Ferrari drivers. The money, collected in the auction, will be used to help the earthquake victims in the Emilia region.
