Korean GP - A Ferrari on the podium at Yeongam

Yeongam, 14 October
GP KOREA F1/2012
Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa took their Ferraris to third and fourth places in the Korean Grand Prix at the end of a virtually perfect race from both of them. The result means that Scuderia Ferrari now moves into second place in the Constructors’ championship, getting ahead of McLaren, who only got one driver to the flag; Hamilton in tenth place. Dominating the race were the two Red Bulls, which finished first and second, but in reverse grid order, Vettel taking the win ahead of Webber. The German now moves into the lead of the Drivers’ classification, six points up on the Spanish Ferrari driver.

Of the last five races, on paper, this was definitely the toughest for Ferrari which can still leave Korea with pride in the fact its cars proved to be very competitive in today’s race. The championship is still long with 100 points up for grabs in the Drivers’ table and it continues in two weeks time with the Indian Grand Prix.
