Brazilian GP - Weather holds the key

Jenson Button ended the third free practice session for the Brazilian Grand Prix at the top of the time sheet for McLaren with a lap in 1.13.188. Lewis Hamilton, fastest in both sessions yesterday, was fourth this morning in 1.13.389. Second and third were the Red Bulls of Sebastian Vettel (1.13.254) and Mark Webber (1.13.385.) The highest placed Ferrari was Fernando Alonso, eighth in 1.13.691, with Felipe Massa around a tenth slower in the other F2012, posting a time of 1.13.712. A cleaner track and cooler conditions made assessing the two types of tyre more relevant. The team tackled the usual Saturday morning tasks under greyish skies which could signal rain and both Ferrari men found the Hard compound more confidence inspiring. This afternoon comes the final qualifying session of the year.
