It is, for the moment, only the first part, devoted to the first 25 years (1963-1988), prototypes, unique and special projects Lamborghini operates mainly documentary / Photo, only brief descriptions and some sheets in practice a kind of "alternative history", which delves deep into the very essence of Lamborghini: the imagination and resourcefulness in power! Expected within the year the second volume (1988-2013), which promises to be even more interesting and "tasty" as the first, always strictly "limited edition" and numbered.

A journalist, designer and University Professor, an engineer, but, above all, two people who are eternally enamoured witth the bull mark, have ventured into the fantastic history of Automobili Lamborghini in order to research its less known, most curious and secret products. The result is a report type book which even surprised the authors themselves. Above and beyond the conpany’s more or less positive up and downs, above and beyond the exceptional products known to the vast public, Automobili Lamborghini, even durino the darkest moments, was a mine of ideas for a multitude of “possibile” projects that demonstrated great intellectual vivacità and the distinctively creative Italian imagination of its people and its designers. The title of the book underlines exactly this aspect. Automobili Lamborghini is still a relatively young company, just fifty years old, and it is fortunate in that all the protagonista who have made it famous worlwide, apart from its founder Ferruccio, are stilla alive. It was in fact by gathering their testimonies, their memories, their documents and subjecting them to cross-checking, and following their tracks meticulously, that the authors have managed to complete this unprecedented collection of projects. The contents have been divided into chapters for the pur pose of facilitatine consultation and reading, with the awareness that many Lamborghini projects cannot be “categorized”. However, the “curiosities” have been treated with the same rigour as the more important projects. The authors will feel gratified for all their hard work if even just one of their enthusiastic readers will feel the same thrill and pleasure on discovering one of the numerous “Fantastic Lamborghinis” for the first time.
