Brazilian GP - Wet practice


Interlagos, 22 November – The Brazilian Grand Prix weekend got underway this morning with the first free practice session at the Carlos Pace circuit. As the cars took to the track for the nineteenth and final round of the season, the expected rain had indeed arrived. Quickest was Nico Rosberg who did a 1.24.781, ahead of his Mercedes team-mate, Lewis Hamilton (1.25.230.) Third was Sebastian Vettel (1.25.387) in the Red Bull. The two Ferraris were fifth and eleventh courtesy of Fernando Alonso (1.25.593 and Felipe Massa (1.26.284) respectively. Neither man did many laps, Fernando completing 13 and Felipe 15, using one set of Intermediate tyres each, as they worked on gathering set-up data for the wet conditions.
