MONACO GRAND PRIX – THIRD ROW FOR SCUDERIA FERRARI

Monaco, 24 May –Both Scuderia Ferrari F14 Ts will start tomorrow’s Monaco Grand Prix from the third row of the grid. Fernando Alonso was fifth with a 1.16. 686, while Kimi Raikkonen stopped the clocks in 1.17.389.
The whole session went reasonably smoothly, with Alonso and Raikkonen having no trouble getting through the first two knock-out stages. In the final 12 minutes, both Ferrari men did two runs, improving on the second set of tyres, but it was not enough to stake a claim to the second row. Nico Rosberg took pole, the sixth of his career, ahead of Mercedes team-mate Lewis Hamilton. It’s an all-Red Bull second row, with Daniel Ricciardo again outpacing Sebastian Vettel. The Monaco Grand Prix starts tomorrow at 14h00.
